What are the costs of seeing Dr. Luthar?
Dr. Luthar’s practice uses a concierge membership model that combines traditional insurance billing with a more personalized, time-rich approach to care. This model supports deeper relationships, enhanced access, and integrative care that goes beyond the limits of typical insurance-based practices.
Costs are structured as follows:
- Insurance-billed services: Office visits, labs, imaging, and prescriptions are billed through insurance when eligible.
- Concierge membership fee: This annual fee supports services not typically covered by insurance, such as extended appointments, personalized wellness planning, urgent access when needed, and care coordination.
- Direct-pay option: Available for patients who do not use insurance or are out of network.
The standard individual membership fee is $15,000 per year, with discounted rates available for immediate family members, students, veterans, and first responders. Payments can be made annually or through an approved payment plan.
Important note on reimbursement:
The concierge membership fee is generally not eligible for reimbursement through HSA, FSA, or HRA accounts, as it covers non-medical services like enhanced access and extended time.
