Are home visits available for geriatric patients?

Dr. Luthar is currently building a home visit program specifically designed to meet the needs of geriatric patients. This initiative will allow older adults to receive comprehensive primary care in the comfort of their own homes.

This model supports aging in place, which can improve quality of life, reduce hospital visits, and minimize the stress often associated with transportation and office-based care. It also allows family members and caregivers to be more directly involved in the care process when needed.

The program will be supported by a dedicated geriatrician working alongside Dr. Luthar and is intended for patients in the Boston metro area, particularly in neighborhoods such as Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Brookline, and Newton.

Services offered through this program may include routine physicals, chronic condition management, lab coordination, and end-of-life or transitional care planning.
