Does Dr. Luthar offer virtual visits or telehealth?

Dr. Luthar provides personalized telehealth visits for both new and existing patients who reside outside the immediate Boston area. Virtual care is delivered through a secure video platform and includes the same level of attention, diagnostic insight, and integrative guidance as in-person appointments.

Telehealth is ideal for follow-ups, chronic condition management, wellness planning, and mind-body or lifestyle consultations. For services that don’t require a physical exam, it offers a convenient, flexible way to stay connected and receive expert care from anywhere.

Dr. Luthar is currently licensed to provide virtual visits for patients physically located in:

• Massachusetts
• New York
• Florida
• Vermont
• New Hampshire

Additional licensure is pending in:
Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and California.
For patients with an established relationship based in Massachusetts, temporary virtual care is also available during infrequent travel through the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, and Wyoming.

To maintain quality and continuity, Dr. Luthar requests that all patients, even those primarily out-of-state, schedule at least one in-person visit per year for a comprehensive annual physical. Some urgent medical needs may not be appropriate for telehealth; in these cases, Dr. Luthar will help coordinate local in-person care as needed.
